The Rules

The Following are some simple definitions and rules for waging the campaign (and will be added to sporadically to clarify problems).

Main Rule 1: This is meant to be fun (it's a game and you're using toy soldiers, leave attitude at the door)

Main Rule 2: You’ll be given a home world when you begin (if not remind me and I'll give you one). You can’t be eliminated from the campaign for not having a home planet (you still have your ships to take you to your next battle)

Perils of Space: Due to spatial anomalies, undercurrents and other storms in the universe, access to certain regions in space is seasonal. When these planets become inaccessible then the current force leader will maintain control until they can be challenged again.

Last Man Standing: For multiple player battles the ownership of the planet is decided by whoever has the most victory points (unless agreed on prior to the battle who will take control).

Terrain Type: Defines any background knowledge of the planet or special rules that need to be considered for the planet.

Missions: Each planet has a variety of missions to simulate the different terrain and situations. A mission sheet will be given to you when you collect a planet card and you need only roll a D6 to decide which mission is to be played.

Unclaimed Planets: You must fight at least one battle to claim a planetary body (with the exception of your home world)

Forfeiture of Planets: All challenges must be accepted and played within 5 club meetings (i.e. 5 months) or the planet is forfeited to the challenger.

Voluntary Forfeiture: If you wish to cringe in fear or cowardly run away to hide behind your mommas skirt you may give a planet to your challenger if you are to gutless to fight them.

Apocalypse Battles: You may team up to play Apocalypse battles if you need help beating someone or making up the numbers (last man standing rules apply i.e. Whoever has the most victory points)

Scenario Details: Lists the types of missions that must be played to conquer the planet.

Allied Armies: If allies are being used to make up army points the majority of the army must be made of the commanding army (ie. Not the allies) to be able to claim the planet.

Armies: Not all armies occupying a planet are classified as sentient and may consist of monstrous flora and fauna.

Battle Commanders: An army commander may field more than one type of army in the campaign (Jamie’s Necrons and Jamie’s Daemon Hunters)

Home Planets: (Signified by a 'H' in planet ownership) is an Apocalypse sized battle with the defender given the option of bringing in allies for assistance. It is considered bad form (but not unheard of) for the more ruthless commander to gather his "associates" assistance in annihilating an enem's home world.

Titans: For the purpose of the campaign a Titan will be considered any model that uses the Super Heavy Damage Tables, is a Gargantuan Creature or a battle formation from the Apocalypse Data Sheets/Book
